So we don't know the details yet but the chancellor has just announced an air ambulance for London...

So I'm wondering - aren't all air ambulance aircraft charity owned in this country? Would this be the first government support?

No:

Scottish Ambulance Service - Air Ambulance - Aircraft (http://www.scottishambulance.com/WhatWeDo/aircraft.aspx)

Well, at least for the next six months I guess.

Given that that police have long had helicopters, it's good the addition of air ambulances across the capital.

Is there any reason why the test of the country should rely on charity though, more than a capital?

Whilst they're funded by charities they can't be part of NHS savings.;)

Will the IFR Multi Crew pilots now get paid anywhere even close to IFR Multi Crew wages? :suspect:
