I've heard F-35 is cancelled as radars in the far east are only switched on between the hours of 9:00 - 17:00 and the radar operator isn't paying much attention to whats going on anyway.

Edit: As far fetched as it seems, I believe this scenario actually happened for real in the Six Day War between Egypt and Israel. When Egypt turned off it's air defence to prevent blue on blue during a vip flight, Israel conducted air strikes, the first wave alone destroyed 197 Egyptian aircraft caught on the ground.
