Cairns Airport Fire Station

Back in the 40's - 50's there was a small fire station next to the ANA terminal.

Is there anyone out there with photos or info on when it was built, demolished, people who worked there etc

Also was it run by the RAAF?

Any info would be appreciated. I've tried google but can't seem to find anything.
