Don't want to be a pedant - but I assume that Hoppy (Paul Hopkins) is suffering from MND.
I was a colleague of his on 1(F) in the 70's.
If this is the man I knew, then I would like to know.
He was a great pilot and individual, who went on to do great things with BAe and the Gripen.
I hope he is doing well and receiving whatever help is available.
Yes, Chris B is doing the ride and walk to help the Motor Neurone Disease Association and indirectly, Paul - his CV makes for impressive reading (who am I to even suggest that?).
