Hi

Firstly, under the new easa rules, is the cpl(h) ground school now 13 exams(thought it was 9) and secondly has anyone here had difficulty with the ground school. My problem is algebra etc i've never been able to get my head around it. No problems with trig and stuff like that, just equations and moving things around - it's my kryptonite if you will.

Apart from the USA, are there other places that widely except the FAA licenses - Middle east maybe as i already have these but being british they are no use here.

Thanks

Email Barry Hamblin ([email protected]), and he will send you details of his Mathematics for Aviation book. Barry teaches general navigation (or used to) at a well known ATPL ground school provider, and has a knack for unlocking Maths for those (particularly pilots) for whom it doesn't come naturally.

Baz Hamblin dragged me from poor GCE maths pass to ATPL pass in 4 weeks. Amazing teacher.
