Ah, ye olde golden rule for flying training:
"Thou shalt not drain ye account prior to course commencement".

I see now that is a rather ambiguous question!

If you are referring to money paid to CASA for an AOC which is subsequently denied or cancelled, the answer is no.

If you are referring to money paid to a flying school in anticipation of flying training, the answer is yes. It is a civil debt, refer to the small debt courts in your State. But you may need to stand in line......

Would perchance your enquiry relate to this?

Casa has appeared to have cancel Air combat Australia's air operators certificate training in tomohawks due to safety breaches. Does the safety breach interrupt there jet fighter flight operation in Camden.

Does the safety breach interrupt there jet fighter flight operation in Camden.Buck,
Doesn't appear to, as long as the maintenance issues are satisfied. Limited Cat. aircraft performing Adventure Flights do not operate on an AOC.
Tootle pip!!

Buck Rogers,

My personal opinion is that any Tommy-hawk is a safety breach just looking for a place to happen... but that's only my opinion :E

As for the legalities of Warbird Adventure flights, I defer to my learned colleague above.

I would ask, however, if the appellant has been prevented from doing his own maintenance who then will do it? - I believe there is quite a good L39 maintenance shop in Bathurst.

I believe there is quite a good L39 maintenance shop in Bathurst.

Perhaps I should not comment on Bathurst, on the basis of perceived bias, but if I needed help with an L-39 right now, I would be going to Archerfield.

Tootle pip!!
