Found out yesterday that Stuart died last Saturday after a long illness. Attended his funeral in Gunning NSW this morning. Any out there recruited by him ? A true gentleman.

Yes, knew him but wasn't recruited by him. A long time ago but remembered him (as you said) as a real gentleman with a very pleasant nature. I wouldn't have thought he ended up in Gunning, close to my original home area. I knew him a little in Melbourne.
