"a security agreement and a commitment to the principles that ensure non-interference in the internal affairs of any of the GCC countries, either directly or indirectly, and not to support any activity that would threaten the security and stability of any of the GCC countries from organizations or individuals, including support for hostile media."

Al Jazeera is a Qatari company, and a radical departure from the typical government controlled media in the region. It has often been given credit for the Arab Spring which makes many of these countries very nervous. See this YouTube video of a 60 minutes segment on it.

The Other UAE airline is hiring as many QR pilots it can get away with before AAB starts complaining, then it slows down. Every ex QR pilot I've flown with has been happy to move to the capital.

The Qr wealth fund owns the London sewage, So they could bar them from
using it. I will not comment on the technical implications, sniffers etc etc.
