I have just been contacted, via DWP, by the people sorting out compensation for those that lost out in the Equitable Life debacle. A fair number of those were service people or ex-service. If you had an E L policy and you have heard nothing (like me you may have moved house a few times), it might be worth your while contacting Equitable Life Payment Scheme on 0300 0200 150 with your policy number. Usual disclaimers, but my letter is in the post today.
