Hi guys i want to ask you, once i`ve finished the CPL (normal curse with 135 hours of flight), how many more hours do i need for study the FI (fligth instructor)? I mean, when i fiinshed CPL, can i go directly to study FI or i need to complet aditional hours by myself, before i can study FI?

I`m speaking about EASA (JAR) license.

Thank you and have a good day.

If trained modular you need 200 hours TT before you can start.

In the old days it meant some of us would have to hour build to get up to it. But as they have now changed things so that you have to have 200hours before sitting your CPL test its not a problem.

How are you expecting to get a CPL with only 135 hours?

Today flight schools to survive they have reduced the maximum amount of flight hours to get your frozen ATPL.

Anyway, to perform a FI course you need 200 hrs and 6 hrs on a SEP engine aircraft in the last 6 months. So you need to pay those flight hours by yourself.
