Hi all,

In the A330 FCOM, during cockpit preparation procedure, the Clock has to be checked and set as necessary. But there is a note underneath stating "If the clock is readjusted for a value above ten days, maintenance must perform a Wing Tip Brake engagement test".

What does the clock setting have to do with WTB test? How are these two related?

Just try it in flight, once; advance the date more than 10 days and see the result... (don't!) :\

The WTB does a self test every ten days using that clock...
