Hi

I was wondering whether to buy a basic PILAPT account for 30 days now because my FTE Jerez assessment is happening next week and I was wondering whether to or not. I've done the free practice test several times however this helps a little but not a lot, is it worth it?

Can you list some of the free preferably pilot oriented reasoning / numerical tests?

I used PAT | PilotAptitudeTest.com - Practise for COMPASS Tests and PILAPT Tests (http://pilotaptitudetest.com/) , it was good and I feel it helped me in preparation for my ctc pilapt which I passed. I don't think anything can prepare you for the actual thing (over sensitive joystick etc) though I knew I wouldn't have felt comfortable going in without any prep. There were people on the day who got the prep pack and didn't pass though.

BWSBoy6; is your FTE Jerez assessment actually in Jerez?

Yes, the assessment was today. Did a two hour maths/physics paper and aptitude tests-a bit mixed  followed by an ok interview. Finding out tomorrow if I'm in! :\

Congratulations.

Out of interest, and with obviously no obligation to reply, how are you funding your flight training?

:)

Bank of Mum and Dad :oh:

I've promised parents that IF I get a job from this, I'll try and make sure they always get to fly 1st Class. Mum reckons all she is really doing is buying a season ticket for the privilege of travelling upper class, up front! ;)
