Just reading this in the BBC website

A Libyan military plane carrying doctors and patients has crashed in Tunisia, killing all 11 people on board, officials say.

By the looks of a propeller it went (by crew of course) to a how is it called "weathercock" mode after engine failure

Well observed.

"feathered" is the English word. It is not necessarily pilot commanded, most prop aircraft will have an autofeather system that will immediately feather the props of a failed engine if armed. Depending on different aircraft / operator procedures, the autofeather may be armed for the entire duration of the flight, or only in critical phases (takeoff and landing). Not sure how it works on an An-26 though.

In An 26 it's feathered manually, I've got An 24 experience, if you don't make it with feathering on time following eng. failure you might have some problems with handling, it's about 80° feathering. And it does look like feathering.
