Luckily for BA there are some free parts available in Johannesburg. :)

suffered a brake seizure on landing causing several tyres to deflate

I am pondering how a seized brake deflates a number of tyres???

Anti-skid???

Chicken or the egg here.....

When the gear is selected up, the first thing that happens is that the brakes are applied so that the wheels are not rotating when they enter the bay. If, for some reason, the brake pressure is not released, then the four wheels on that bogie will be locked on landing.
