Few details, but was apparently doing Ag work on bananas.

They build Ag pilots tough in FNQ, especially the chopper lads and ladettes, so glad to hear that old mate is ok. $20.00 bucks says old mate went back to the farm, dusted himself off and enjoyed a Great Northern or two in front of the footy.
And if you are going to prang a chopper then Mission beach is as good a spot as any!
