It's a good display.

What is wrong with it in your opinion ?

I would have to defer to a rotary expert. Is there a significant danger to the crowd or guy on the ground in the event of a technical failure of the aircraft, e.g. tail rotor or it's driveshaft, during the Kiowa display? Other than that, the manoeuvres seem relatively safe. I've done most of them myself (with a QHI on the other controls, and nowhere near as rapidly or smoothly!).

There again, I don't suppose they let 'baby' pilots 'play' with other aircraft these days either. Whilst on the UAS, I was given significant stick time on Lightning, Jaguar, Hawk, Hercules and Wessex. Glad I'm Old!

p.s. I did used to be a Base Flight Safety Officer
