This is a Thai incident, but there are few enough CT4's left that some will be interested in keeping track.

It suffered some sort of engine failure at an altitude of about 100m Its not fully clear to me, but I think Thailand still operates them for something like an Air Corps.

The Thai script comes up as question marks, but the link to the newspaper carrying pictures and the story still works.

Still available from Pacific Aerospace in NZHN, if you have the coin. The same factory manufactures the PAC750XL.

In Oz one CT-4E [Lyc. IO-540 powered] operating in Toowoomba for training. Nice machine. They're not to be confused with the ex-RAAF CT-4A's [Cont. IO-360 powered].

The Royal Thai Air Force purchased some 24 E models new from NZ. The RNZAF operates them as well...
