FR24 currently showing EZY9006 (A320 G-EZWN) circling over Hertfordshire after departing STN, incl a GA at LTN.

Anyone have any insights [or is the FR24 data poss unreliable]?

Thanks

Most probably a repositioning flight after last night's high winds. Unable to land at LTN perhaps and then to the nearest Easy base….LGW ?

Looks as though it was re-postioning from Stansted, went around, held off for a bit (went over my house 3 times). Then went around again and went back to Stansted.

Being so light it was probably an interesting couple of approaches.

Thanks SHJ, I'd wondered something along those lines

Appears to have just landed back ast STN - stranger still.

Now airborne from STN heading towards LTN for another try.
Landed safely at 15.02
EZY9011 finally arrived at 16.52 after this mornings failed attempt.

The story just doesn't read right though. I think it's the lack of mention of passengers screaming in terror and the woman row 32 who was convinced they were all going to die.

Yes, I know it said it was an empty positioning flight, but why let facts get in the way of a good story?

First pic looks like it's taking off (flap 1), was meant to be on that one but it couldn't land

Thanks for the pictures G-AZUK (sorry not to reply earlier).

I too thought there was something odd about the sequence of pictures, as the first one seems to show the plane further along its flightpath compared to the second (IF the plane in the background and the photographer were in the same relative positions)

Cheers
