I'm doing a nursing degree now, just wondering how many years of experience as a ICU/emergency nurse do they require?

Quite a few. Ring them and ask.

Good to see you're keen.

You need to be a midwife as well as the ICU experience.

I've seen 5 years post grad mentioned, that's for rfds, but don't take that as gospel.
Also it's not something you want to just jump straight into at the earliest possible chance. It's a role that requires a lot of individual work where it's just you making all the calls on patient care. This isn't for everyone. Wait till you have confidence and competence in your role. Talk to others who have been through it, and people who have tried and didn't like it or didn't make it and ask why.
Concentrate on getting through your degree for the moment, the job will always be there if you haven't found something more desirable by then.
All the best.
