Due to the current drought and Severe/Extreme fire danger being experienced in QLD can the previous practice of reporting fires spotted at night without signs of an emergency vehicle ( probably a flashing red light) be reactivated. Either through ASA or 000 if it works inflight.

Needs INS/ACARS/GPS position if available or bearing and distance.

Remember this is where your steak comes from! Bushfire is instant drought:)

Mate, the truth is..at the moment there's nothing left to burn
A devastating emerging tragedy is manifesting itself in Western Qld. If no significant rain is forthcoming in January, and the mid 40 degree temperatures continue, it is estimated that 30% of the Qld cattle herd will perish, and up to 100 producer enterprises will fail. The BOM, and those old enough to remember, put the current drought as bad as seen in 1952.

I think the NAPA fire spotting setup has pretty much got that all covered now.
I know from the few remote rural fires that I've been involved in the last couple of years, the NAPA info has been pretty much spot on.
