Personally, I think that Bristol Groundschool is the dog's bo*-"x. Got me through nav and techs where others had failed and after a brush up at Gatwick Hilton I passed Perf A with 100% and left the exam with time in hand.

I can't say from experience because I studied at PPSC before they went bust, but by reputation you won't go far wrong. And of course there's Noush <img src="wink.gif" border="0">

Would agree with describing them as the dogs danglies.. .Recently started and they have delivered all their promises.. .Turn round times for progress tests have been far faster than the 24 hrs promised and the notes are ideal for thickies like me.

And from the comments above all this and still more with Noush.

Bristol Groundschool is the "hund fleisch und zwei gemusen" as they probably don't say in Germany.

I agree with everyone else. I don't think I'd have passed without them.

I've just got all my books today from Bristol. I'm very impressed......Every one who I have spoken to have said they are the best school for distance learning!

Only heard about these guys today from the banner adds on PPrune.... .Question: I live 2km from Oxford Airport.. .Who should I go with?? How useful might poping into the school be during a 'distance' learning course? Or for the catchup/revision lectures??. .I had also looked at Air Atlantic's offering too, but from what I have seen, they're new to the game (this sylabus, anyway).

A Question to all those doing / completed the ATPLs distance learning.

I consider myself intelligent, I did well at school - Maths and Physics etc.. but always found it difficult than most others when it came to revision.. .I want to do the ATPLs distance learning so I can stay at home (where i have minimal outgoings etc.) and then do the CLP/IR at my local school.

I work full time at the moment but might give it up or work part time.

What I was wondering was how people got on with studying and working at the same time. was it alot of pressure and stress, how did you feel, how any hours a week did you put in and more importantly how were the results.

I am not afraid of hard work and commitment in anyway shape or form, but just a little worried that this is so important and you really only get ONE go at it to make an impression later on.

I have heard nothing but good vibes about Bristol so they will be my choice once i decide to commit.

Thanks for any help
