It’s not just the aircrew but the RAF Regiment who provided protection on the ground, the movers who helped get the passengers on board, the medics and the engineers, all of them have all performed brilliantly and I’m extremely proud of them.

Great effort for the crew who landed on the 20th as well, especially positioning onto short finals, ATC were beyond overloaded, the place was a nightmare. I hope your departure was less eventful.

Looks like the picture they've used to head the BBC article is from one of the UK flights given the uniforms.

Hope those on board the the 22s are OK.
