Anyone been using this yet? Relatively new release on the ipad I think?
I've always liked the practicality of the PC version.
Obviously no mapping, but any comparisons / positives / negatives to other apps ?
Cheers

I've had a play with it. I couldn't get it to print a flight log properly, it split one page into two. They've been doing regular updates so hopefully any issues it has will be quickly resolved.

I had a play with the trial version. Was pretty good I thought although I did a few plans using the sample aircraft which gave completely wrong fuel calculations which was a worry. Hopefully that issue will be fixed then I think it has potential to be an awesome app.:ok:

Seems very similar to the desktop version. In that is the problem that the UI is suited for a desktop and not a tablet.

I've submitted a few plans using the FP5000 on the iPad, just to see how it goes. So far so good.

It will occasionally drop out on the last page when attempting to view flight plan details. Haven't seen any updates yet, there must be a few on the way.

Loaded it on my IPad 1 :uhoh:
Worked for a bit. Got some details loaded in incl W&B. It now won't stay open more than a few seconds when loaded.

Any ideas?

Hi Skywagon - you've run out of memory. Hard boot it (press & hold the front button, press the top button till it shuts down).

Tried that. I am talking to the blokes at champagne. Hopefully we will resolve it. It looks useful.

Seems pretty good, but still a bit unstable at the moment.(ipad mini)
Always liked the desktop version, so if they can get it stable, should be practical.
