Watched a documentary last night that showed the tracking down and eventual repossession of two A320's in Turkey. The name was pixelated out so you couldn't see what the blue decals said.

Anyone know who the airline was?

Only one was in Turkey, the other in a French maintenance airfield. Not much of a paintjob on them......

Yes it was on one of the Discovery Channel programs, something of the ilk 'plane repo men'. I watched it from the point that the planes were sitting in the Azores trying to get across the pond before another creditor put a lien on the aircraft.

Repeated last night on UK freeview channel 'Quest'.
I just hope they aren't really as fast and loose with procedures and maintenance standard practices as it appears.

Back in the USA they were scrapped, which I guess must have been why the engineering was not to important.

The A320s from the Doc film were in fact former
A320 088 SX-BVK
A320 087 SX-BVL
From former Greek Operator Hellas Jet
someone said that that series was staged in parts also

those kinds of 'documentaries' usually are partly staged though. the whole ice truckers / airplane repo / railroad Alaska / gold rush / wheeler dealers / overhaulin' type programmes all have staged or exaggerated parts to complete the episode and add dramatics.
