Yet again the geniuses at Gatwick strike again with their never-failing-to-amaze level and depth of knowledge of aviation and attention to detail.
Apparently (and, whilst not personally witnessed, the information has come from several sources) a question in yesterday's ATPL(A) Performance examination referred the reader to Section 3 (MEP) but asked for a landing distance of a MRJT aircraft (the generic B-737) (taking off from a grass strip) with answers being provided in pounds (weight!).
Oh, come on!!!!
Surely, even the most miniscule level of quality control by a 10 hour PPL(A) student pilot would have spotted this.
When is someone going to regulate the regulator?
