Nice to see airfields taking such moves. I made a point of visiting, and found them welcoming and helpful. A good option for practising instrument or visual approaches at an airfield with full ATC

I lobbed into Cranfield a couple of months ago. We got a very friendly reception in Ops and had a good/reasonably priced lunch in the adjacent cafe.
