Hello all,

Does anybody know if any UK or French operator is able to potentially provide a service to move 12 pax from UK Home counties airport to Alderney - AOC/public transport operation???

Hi
A good contender would be LinksAir in Humberside
They operate 19 seat J31s on a UK AOC and do charter work as well as ACMI
Runway should be long enough in Alderney

Charter one of Blue Island's J32s?

That sounds ideal however the only tarmac runway in ALD is about 800 mtrs, can they do it with 12 Pax plus Standard Weekend luggage´???

Nice if so

Skybus did a charter from Blackbushe down to Cornwall only last week - the Twotter, which IIRC seats 16, would be eminently suitable for Alderney and probably not be too slow on a short flight from the Home Counties.

Aurigny themselves could also be interested, of course. The Trislander seats about the same no.

Wycombe, I thought Aurigny retired the Trislander already?

I had a lovely flight in G-JOEY, complete with new EFIS (as they all have) only last week. Lovely, partly because an ex-colleague was flying it.

PS:

ALTSEL, you have a PM which may provide the solution (sent a few days ago).

Far from it, although they are trialing a Do228 as a potential replacement at the moment. I believe it's been operating between ACI and SOU this week.

TheIC - my first and only flight in G-JOEY was in 1978 - amazing that she is still going strong, and has been upgraded!
