With the new licensing regs coming in what happens with co-pilot endorsements, will they be still shown as a co-pilot endorsement on your new licence?

I would hate to loose my highly sought after Shorts 330 endorsement.

I have a few co-pilot endorsements on my Licence and I asks the same question at one of the recent CASA Part 61 forums. The reply from CASA was yes for those who currently have them on their licenses, but they won't issue anymore. He did say we may need to chase CASA if it is removed, same for expired instructor ratings and the like.

From what I heard, your Co-pilot endorsement will morph into a "type rating" with a restriction "operate as Co-pilot only" (or some such words).
This restriction can be lifted if you can demonstrate that you have received the training required for a Command endorsement. The time to do this would be when you fill in the form when you apply for your Part 61 Licence after a "transaction" with CASA ie an IPC (IRT by a new name), or add a new rating.

You will certainly not "loose" your 330 endorsement, however loose it was.

Agree with Agent: It will transition with a restriction, according to my intel.
