Private Aircraft to Norfolk Island.

Norfolk Island being a semi autonomous island requires a passport to enter from Aus. If taking a private aircraft, must you depart from an International port such as Sydney International or can you depart from Bankstown etc. Sydney Intl being as busy as it is, is difficult to get a slot and costly.



Did a search on the internet but couldn't find any reference.

Bankstown to Lord Howe is ok, can you clear customs at LHI and then proceed to NLK?

Lord Howe will be your easiest departure point.
Don't forget you're going to need to carry HF and a life raft.
