From Lasors:

A route sector is defined
as a flight comprising take-off, cruise of not less than 15
minutes, arrival, approach and landing."

Can the route sector start and end at the same airport? Is there any difference under EASA (yes, Ive tried Googling!).

Thanks.

BTW, do you have a link to the definitive EASA FCLs? All that I have found on EASA website and elsewhere is somewhat ambiguously entitled, undated, or old and I am never sure whether I am looking at the official document.

See a couple of threads down (Part FCL - a quickie) for the links you need.
