Hi Everyone,

Has anyone recently sat the ATPL Nav exam and have any additional advice to offer? I am due to sit mine in less than 2 weeks.

I have been using Rob Avery's texts with prac exams (separate booklet). I was also given AFT notes which I have been reading for additional learning.

Did you find that Rob Avery adequately covered the style of exam questions asked?

Thanks and all the best

AFT notes as usual are enough to get you over the line, sat it recently and passed first go.

Sat it a bit over a month ago using the Avery stuff/praccy exams and some AFT stuff.

I found them a perfect preparation for the exam questions I got, if anything the Avery ones are harder.

I only got the one question wrong which was a W/V one. I re-plotted and measured it multiple times but my answer was equally close to two of the CASA answers. Buggered if I'll ever be able to figure it out.

I'm doing Nav next week, using AFT notes. Seems pretty straightforward.
