Hello Everyone :)

I am trying to conduct a small survey on the validity of various ICAO Pilot licenses ( specifically CPL and ATPL )

Would appreciate your inputs on the following

ICAO Country :

Is an Expiry date printed on the license ? :

Instrument rating expiry date printed on the license ? :

Does the type rating expire ? :

Does the Civil Aviation Authority require a minimum educational qualification for issue of CPL / ATPL ?

I'll Start

ICAO Country : India DGCA

Expiry date printed on the license : Yes , CPL valid for 5 years , ATPL 2 years

Instrument rating expiry date printed on the license : Yes , Valid for 1 year

Does the type rating expire : Expires completely after 3 years unless a few sim sessions are done in between . If not one has to undergo the entire type rating all over again if more than 3 years after the last check

Does the Civil Aviation Authority require a minimum educational qualification for issue of CPL / ATPL ?
The Indian DGCA requires education upto pre university level which is 12years of school education . They require Science as a subject in 10th grade ( O Level ) and maths and physics as subjects in 12th grade ( A level )

Thanks in advance for all the answers . Trying to cover as many countries as possible
:)
