Hey all,
I have looked on past Threads and found a few old one's in regards to instructor jobs. However i would like some information on getting an instructor Job with China Southern, in Western Australia.
What are the conditions like, pay and hours that a person can accumulate.
Any information would be great.

Upon hiring they usually require you to move out to Merredin, which is a town that really is what you make of it. If you are determined to be miserable, because you're not in a major centre, you will be. They do provide accom for $45 per week, but they are running out of room in the housing so you "may" be asked if you want rent in town. But this is new so I'm not sure how much they will provide if you go elsewhere. Btw having a car is strongly recommended.
Students are good people, they just take a lot of getting used too, particularly with the accent, but you do rapidly get an ear for it. The rest of us are a pretty good crowd too, but it can be hard living and working with the same people 24/7.
They have have just changed the contracts and all new to the company G3s (not sure if junior only or not) are now contractors. You are asked to work 38 hours per week which is down from the original 45, but to meet targets people will often go over. If you want more info pm me, but this is all I will say in public.

I'd have thought being employed initially as a contractor, when the position used to be employed as an employee, and then moving to employee status with experience is a pretty clear sign there is an employee/employer relationship going on there.
Not the worst flight school related thing I've seen today though. Tristar are offering their instructor rating graduates 50 hours of work experience as a kick start in the industry. Oh how lovely. :ugh::ugh:
