Ive prolly been taken over by the web but delighted to that 809 are back in business alongside 617. Great news.

Thank you. I knew I would be prempted. Anyway.. great to see 809 back in action. As I remember they were last stood up in 1982. An ex Buccaneer sqdn unless my memory is failing and COMAW in the Falklands used to SPLOT.

Good to see them back, my dad flew with them in the late 60's - early 70's.:ok:
I still believe that the Bucc would be a better choice of aircraft...............:E

Couldn't agree more SOB, My old man was a maintainer on 809 at the same time. The family all suffered for it though. Our Punishment was having to live in the middle of nowhere in a sodding caravan for 3 years Freezing my pods off in winter and summer
