Does anyone know where things stand with implementation of oneSKY? I know the RFT is out. It'll be interesting to see whether anyone besides Raytheon and Thales stand a chance given their respective roles in the current ATM architecture.

The Request For Tender opened on 28 June 2013 and closes on 30 October 2013.

I guess there will be no news until November. I had heard that a few other parties were interested, some of which were partnerships of multiple specialist firms. Then again I also heard at one stage that THALES were not even interested in tendering and ASA weren't dealing with them even if they did, so shows how unreliable rumours are.

Thales not bidding??? That sounds like maybe a rumor that Thales planted to confuse Raytheon and Lockheed Martin. Ha!

Does ASA dislike Thales for some reason?

It was just a rumour that went round, THALES and ASA had fallen out big time and one or both had a dummy spit. Because it reflected badly on both, people wanted to believe it. Probably completely made up.

The bid submissions should have all gone in yesterday. Any idea who responded after all ?
