Private Flying from Brisbane to Sydney

I will be in Brisbane in late September and then traveling down to Sydney to meet my Brother in Law. I have a JAA CPL and wondered how difficult it would be to fly in a single engine aircraft for a day or two in Australia and if anyone is likely to be flying south from Brisbane around that time and was looking for a someone to fly with.

If the validation process is complicated it is a non-starter as I am only there for a week.

Any recommendations on flight schools in Brisbane ?

The security clearances will get you. Its generally regarded to take 3 months. Unless you can find a european registered aircraft!!

You probably have a sporting chance hitching a RH seat ride down with someone. I'd keep this post alive and ring the Archerfield flying schools.
