Help with Ransones Mower for the strip

My Ransomes mower (4560tg) for the strip packed in today, both the hydraulics and electrical. Anyone know a agri engineer or mower specialist other than the dealer in Scotland that works on these things, its 20 years old and replacing it with a new one is mega bucks.

I'm not familiar with the model, but a large golf course may have an in house mechanic able to get / keep them going.

Don't know about Scotland, but down here, Local Authorities seem to get new kit every year and the "old" stuff gets flogged at the likes of "York machinery sales"...daresay there are farm equipment auctions up there as well.....the market for secondhand big mowers seems similar to prestige cars......if you want them and have that much ground, you usually have enough brass to buy a new one....consequently , used ones go relatively cheaply. fantastic value. best time to buy is obviously in autumn, best selling time, spring!
