anyone remember Rhodes Maritsa international? and fly in there or take any snaps/cine?

love to hear or see anything related to when it was the holiday charter airport
from the 1960's to 1977

i note the largest a/c i can find that op'd there was an LTU Tristar L1011-1

GOODNESS 420 views on my post here but only 1 reply on my nostalgia thread...

no spotters here in the 1970's ever fly to Rhodes and take any piccies?:O

a old BEA Comet chap replied on the other post and he flew there at night
in 1960something LHR-NCO via RHO Maritsa

scary night approach with only NDB and lots of hills.
