When did ASR become SAR and does anyone know what it will be called when in all (unfortunately) becomes civilian ??? :mad::mad::mad:

SPIT - I would imagine it will be called "SAR" - just like the highly successful civilian SAR in the UK has been for about the last 30 years... :ugh:
What exactly is the point you are trying to make?
As for when it stopped being ASR - about the time they moved from boats to helicopters i think ;)
