Duration of Student Visa in the US...

Hi folks,

I am from India and I have always wanted to come to America and start my piloting career and now i have the opportunity to do so. I however have some clarifications about the duration of the students visa for Indian students.
Will it be for a period of 5 yrs or will it be just for the duration of the course. If it is just for the duration of the course, how can i extend it so that i can get some quality flying hours before I get kicked back to a world full of partiality here in India.

I'm not sure this is the right place to ask that question. US Visa policy is complex and while people here may be able to tell you about their experiences there is NO guarantee that you will be treated the same way.

It may sound counter-intuitive but I would ask questions during your visa interview.
