I was awoken by low flying Dak over garden near Huddersfield on Sunday early pm - fallen asleep with Sunday Times, awaiting singles final, pre Pimms after early morning arrival from DXB. Who,s Dak was it, as it did some quite low level passes over Meltham , and according BBMF web site their,s was not about last weekend. Answers on a post card please ?.:)

It was the BBMF Douglas C47 Dakota DC-3, ZA947. She also did a low level flypast at Leeds/Bradford Airport while in the area on Sunday morning...

She did a few flypasts at Barton for our open day at 1250L that day. Headed up from Holmes Chapel then out to Huddersfield after us. Was amazing to see and can't thank the BBMF enough for agreeing to do it for the open day!
