Hello Everyone,

I'm new here, what a great web site.

If somebody who can give me alittle info on Aero Rescue would be kindly appreciated. I would possibly like to join the YBBN base as a Capt.

I am looking for a job where I don't care if I don't fly alot, ie. with this position this might mean doing alot of ground stuff with other crew members etc. Whats a typical day/shift like, maybe PM me

I look forward to hearing from you.

Capt.C2H5OH :)

Highly unlikely of YBBN Captain as they simply don't have an A/C very often.
All other bases (4 of) have permanent A/C.

All the best :ok:

Anyone know why they keep advertising (and the web site shows 5 bases) for all 5 bases, yet the Brisbane base only has the 328 there for around 10% of the time. Surely the contract must contain clauses regarding the number of bases and the need to have sufficient aircraft and crew to man all bases?

BPA, you are correct.
When you have the interview, I suggest you demand a BNE base and take them to task if it is not available.

Macrohard,

I'm not looking at from a job perspective, but from those who made need their services in South East Qld or Northern NSW. A good 3-4 hours of lost SAR time while the 328 ferries in from Cairns or Melbourne.

BPA,

If the 328 is in Brisbane 10% of time, does this mean your away an awful lot at other bases.
