What a complete waste of time and money

On the face of it yes, approx. £65 000 an hour for a 'phoon, but it would be SCT or some such for the Boss rather than additional hours charged straight to the taxpayer, it comes out of the pot allocated for the sqn & could be considered essential PR for RIAT so it's not so clear cut. It keeps the RAF 'visible' to the tax paying general public although personally I would rather see more ac displaying at airshows in front of big crowds rather than air experience for one lady.

As for the bikini shot I may be getting old but isn't she just a little too mature for that costume? 'Mutton dressed as lamb' as Mrs Scott would put it?

If she were totally naked, would she be just "mutton"? I for one wouldn't object to being "forced" to look, whatever she wore ... but imho what makes a woman attractive / young / old or whatever is far more complicated than what she might choose to wear while she is sunning herself round a swimming pool on holiday.

P.s. She was, after all "showing her support..." :E
