Bristol Ground School (Quick Questions)

Few quick questions for anyone who is currently or has studied with Bristol Ground School.

I was advised by a friend not to buy the whole course (£2140) but the first module then the second so that when I get round to the second module I have the most up to date books.

First, does the software come for both iPad and PC or do you just choose one?

Secondly, does the question bank come with this or do you have to subscribe to that separately?

Lastly, apart from the CRP-5 is there any other additional equipment I need to buy?

Yes BGSonline comes with it, for QB.

Other needed equipement:
- Calculator, with Sin, Cos etc.
- Aviation Ruler.
- Protractor.

I have just myself enrolled with BGS. (received the manuals last week.)

First point to make, the manuals are very high quality, nice semi-glossy paper and ring binders. Very impressed and cannot stop reading them and put them down!

I was going to buy the whole course upfront, but the BGS representative advised me to buy only module 1 at this time.

With Module 1 you receive the following:

-> Software CD (both Pc & Mac) -
Which allows up to 2 activations plus Ipad. (3 devices in total) - I have installed it on my main home PC, Office PC (@ work) and can log into the system via my Ipad App.

-> Meteorology Manual
-> Comms Manual
-> Mass & Balance Manual
-> Cap 697 (flight Planning) Document

I am also going to purchase a CRP5, Scientific Calculator & a years supply of coffee!
