Please could anyone with information on the early life of this aircraft, a Pa18a 150 supercub serial number 18-2517 point me at it? I would like to have it for her birthday party in september. i've tried on spotter's forum and supercub.org, not much info yet. I know she was OO LUL and maybe PH NEV and was built as a 135.

Yes, well. i did say early life. Right now it is in the hangar at Chauvigny. My husband and I (er, the owners) are in Antigny, just down the road. History, anyone?

The information above comes from another website. PH NEV comes from a spotter site I found some years ago, and I don't have it bookmarked :(
I believe the upgrade to 150 spec happened after the second or third cropspraying crash, and the new wings came from an Italian cub. The cub was based at Kortrijk when we bought it as OO LUL
I don't think she was ever an airforce aircraft.

There is a definite conflict of information. I have another source giving I EIRU as the civil registration after service with the Italian airforce as Mm52-2417
