Re the UK IAIP airway N615 has been bestowed with two non-compulsory reporting points EG075 and EG076 between LAKEY and CALDA.

I know that Navtech calls these waypoints DCS47 and DCS53 in their databases and my question is now: what does Jeppesen and Lido call EG075 and EG076 in their databases?

Maybe GETTT and ALIFE? Sorry...couldn't resist.

These are not waypoints used by ATC, and so are neither compulsory, nor non compulsory. If you ask ATC to route to one on the frequency, we'd have no idea what you were talking about.

I can't see them in the UK IAIP either, (Amendment 5/2013) so wonder where you can see them ?

There are two lat/long points in the AIP between LAKEY and CALDA but these simply denote where the airspace base level changes. They are not reporting points.

In the US, we have a grid system of similarly named waypoints depicted on the high altitude enroute charts called the National Reference System. I've filed over some of these in the past to circumnavigate special use airspace most efficiently and the FAA center computer accepted them each time. I learned about these by accident when I got bored enough on a long flight to actually look at a high altitude chart. I entered one into the FMS waypoints page and sure enough, correct lat/lon!

I found this (http://www.propilotmag.com/archives/2010/July%2010/A4_NRS_p2.html) article and learned that there was originally a plan to incorporate this type of grid system internationally but perhaps ICAO integration was started and never completed. Anyway, the naming convention appears to be somewhat different even though the first digit "E" may denote the appropriate FIR. Just a theory.

Yeah GETTT and ALIFE are the fixes for me too...:(

I see that both are low level airspace RNAV waypoints.
