Ipad/android Pilot Training apps

Hi All,

Has anyone used any ipad or android apps to help with their pilot training with any success? Searching around the web, you see a few but with limited reviews - I wondered if anyone here had had any direct experience

What kind of apps are you exactly referring to?

There's one called nav trainer for the ipad that looks good. I have found that apps transferred to Android don't work so well or are limited in some way.
