The Reds were today awarded their Public Display Authority out in Cyprus by CAS. From the 26th of May we will see a full team with all 9 red jets displaying again in the UK skies.

The Team has come through a very tough time and it is wonderful to see them back in the air as a full 9-ship and displaying brilliantly. I think the whole country is proud of them. I certainly am. Well done guys!

Which will no doubt allow for legacy equipment to be used during a transitional period but the public face of the RAF should at least embrace the latest kit. (Unless you think the new boots are crap)

Great news! For three wonderful years I used to watch them doing their spring work up from Akrotiri - best show on earth.

The Hawk RTS doesn't count for the RAFAT.
They don't need to comply with that.

I have similar pics from the show. Reds were great, and finale to a great show, and were VERY well received by the crowd - never seen applause for each manoeuvre before, and huge round of applause at the end. Thanks guys, have a good season.
