Does anybody know why Bulldog XX634 has this light blue stripe?

RAF College Cranwell markings - JPs in the mid 80s carried the same/similar marking

"XX634 / T (cn BH120/304) The latest acquisition for the wonderful Newark Air Museum, arrived 09-Jan-2006. The purchase of this two-seat trainer was made possible by a grant from the PRISM fund and museum member donations made under the Gift Aid Scheme. Formerly operated by University Air Squadrons at Cambridge, Manchester & Salford, East Midlands and Liverpool. Also used by the RAF's Central as well as 2 and 3 Flying Schools."

The blue band is used to denote an aeroplane based at the RAF College, Cranwell
