I am about to start PPL and hope to become soon an ATPL frozen holder. I hope one day I will fly this state-of -the-art aircraft.

Let me dream please! She's fantastic!

Actually, with that drop nose and upswept wings, she looks pretty much like a 787. But I guess aerodynamic principles apply pretty equally to A and B, so the resemblance should be expected.

Redbull.You won't ever fly it. You can't.

But you might end up pushing buttons or waggling a gameboy controller to tell a computer how you would like it flown, if that's OK with the computer.

I do really admire the wing structure on this machine, however i'm not too sold on the nose. But in whole, a real good looking aircraft!:ok:

I hope it flies at the Paris air show next month, but I am not holding my breath!

(even a fly past would be nice!)

Fugly - don't like the nose, the wingtips and the tail is out of proportion (too small).

Not as bad as the Trident or DC-10, but how do you mess up a bog standard twin jet?

Not due to be at Paris, I believe.

Erm, it's not a competition to produce the prettiest twin, is it?!

Also the tail looks out of proportion on that particular picture as it's been taken on a very wide angle lens and hence there's quite a lot of distortion.

No, but the thread is specifically about how it looks! Seen other side on shots, and the tail still look out of proportion.

Tail looks OK to me! reminds me of a an A321, compared to a B757...amazing what fly by wire can do for your tail surfaces!

No, but the thread is specifically about how it looks!

That it may be but stating 'how can you mess up a bog standard twin jet?' implies that the designers have much of a choice. The only time that they would have messed up is if it doesn't fly properly. Form follows function.

I guess the Saudi customers have already placed orders for their 'personal' A350. Would be interesting to see what would be on offer for the interior.

Doesn't the nose looks like they mated a porcupine with a 787?

Nice to see the Comet/Caravelle nose revival continuing!

It looks like the older brother of the Embraer 190. I suppose as the computers have ever more input in designing aircraft, the offerings of all future (similar purpose) aircraft will start to look the same.
